Questions and Answers

Who receives your furniture or appliance donations?
We are helping families strategically through several of our Community Teams - World Relief, House of Hope, Women 4 Women, and Norcross Cooperative Ministries. Need referrals also come through Perimeter Church’s Diaconal Ministry.

What items are acceptable for donation?
Donated items that are accepted include beds, couches, chairs, dressers, kitchen table & chairs, counter-top microwaves,  dressers, beds, washers and dryers. Items should be in good to excellent condition fit for continued use.  In order to assure quality donations, efficiently use storage space, and maintain a proper inventory, we reserve the right to decline donations.

Are my donations tax deductible?
Your donations are tax deductible when they are given as un-designated gifts for the best purposes of Community Outreach ministries. If your donation qualifies as tax deductible, you will receive a tax receipt for your donation.

Can I serve court ordered community service hours with Movers and Shakers?
Not at this time.
