Jeff Myers

President & Chairman

Jeff joined the board in 2015 looking to bring his corporate leadership experience and skills to a Kingdom-centric non-profit. Having been a furniture donor, Jeff was familiar with the ministry and was drawn to addressing the unmet needs of families coming out of crisis. He also recognized the potential of the ministry to tap into a broader base of volunteers impacting more fully the recipients served. He became Chairman in 2018 and is leading the board to set a new vision for what it means to “be generous and give them whatever they need” (Deuteronomy 15:8).

Jeff is retired now but previously led the government business sector for FirstData Corporation, a Fortune 500 payments processing company. Jeff has more than 25 years of experience working with State and local governments, particularly in the area of Health and Human Services.

What I love about Fully Furnished Ministries:

"I love that there’s an opportunity for anyone of any age or stage to contribute in a meaningful way and positively impact the lives of people coming out of crisis."

Tom Hall

Director

Tom first served with Fully Furnished Ministries in 2003, volunteering with his discipleship group to work on one of the ministry’s trucks on a workday Saturday. He saw first hand the impact of the ministry on the lives of those it touched, and his passion for it grew steadily as the ministry itself grew. He soon became Warehouse Manager, then a member of the Board of Directors in 2005.

Tom is a retired attorney, having practiced law at McKenna Long & Aldridge in Atlanta for 27 years, where he was Managing Partner for 11 years.

What I love about Fully Furnished Ministries:

“I love that every aspect of this ministry is focused on Christ and powered by prayer. Even as the ministry has grown significantly and changed in scope through the years, its mission and passion has always been to live and share the gospel.”

Glenn & Martha Mahony

Directors

Glenn and Martha joined the board in 2019 and 2020, respectively. They began their involvement in the ministry in June 2018 by working with the restoration. Glenn had recently retired from AT&T (Southern Bell, BellSouth, AT&T) after almost 39 years where he held numerous positions in engineering, technical research and evaluation, and technology implementation and support. Glenn expanded his work with Fully Furnished Ministries in the fall of 2019 by assisting with the accounting effort. Martha currently works at Perimeter Church as the Technical Event Scheduler. She had previously worked at Perimeter School for 18 year in event scheduling and administrative support.

Glenn and Martha have been members of Perimeter Church since 1987. After donating furniture to the ministry years before, they became aware of the opportunity to use their gifts by restoring furniture on a weekly basis to bless those families being served by the ministry. They love the fact that the ministry provides an opportunity to connect those willing to donate furniture/household items with families in crises, while also providing an opportunity to spread the love of Christ through the various interactions.

Ben Wolf

Director

Ben serves on the board focusing on technology, marketing and strategy. He first connected with the ministry in 2013 as a service project with his men's discipleship group at Perimeter Church. After repeating as a volunteer several times he joined the board in 2016.

Ben is Vice President of Technology at eVestment, a Nasdaq company. Outside of work and ministry, he loves to go on adventures with his wife and 2 girls and he is an avid road cyclist.

What I love about Fully Furnished Ministries:

"I love the life impact Fully Furnished has on everyone we touch. When you see a child lay down in their first bed it is amazing to get a glimpse of how it is impacting their lives. When our volunteers see the real situations that are happening right down the street from our comfortable situations, you can see their worldview shift."
